A: There are many subtle ways to show your support for the Red Sox and the Jimmy Fund, such as:
- Distribute Rally Against Cancer bracelets to your team and encourage them to wear them to build awareness
- Display the Rally certificate of participation in your workspace or classroom
- Wear red socks, a red shirt or blouse, a red tie, or a red skirt
- Accessorize your regular attire by wearing a small Red Sox pin, Red Sox earrings, a red ribbon in your hair, or the Rally Against Cancer bracelet
- Display a Red Sox hat, shirt, or pennant in your desk area
- Work with your HR department to organize a baseball-themed gathering, featuring ballpark favorites like hot dogs, Cracker Jacks, peanuts, and popcorn
Q: My workplace already allows us to wear jeans/dress down on Fridays. How can we participate?
A: Even though Fenway Opening Day falls on a Friday this year, you can organize your own "Rally Day" on another day of the week, and ask that everyone who dresses down makes a gift to do so. Then, on Fenway Opening Day, you can host a game watch party or other celebration.
